Anneka

Anneka is a Dutch and Scandinavian diminutive form of Anna, which derives from the Hebrew name Hannah, meaning grace or favor. It entered English use partly through Dutch influence and gained wider recognition in Britain during the late twentieth century, largely owing to the television presenter Anneka Rice. The name shares its roots with cognates such as Annika, Anniken, and Anka, all regional pet forms of the same Latin and Hebrew lineage.
