Arin

Arin is a name used across several traditions with differing origins. In Turkish and some Central Asian cultures it is understood as a variant of Arın, meaning pure or clean, from a Turkic root conveying cleanliness and integrity. It is also widely used as a gender-neutral anglicized spelling variant of the Hebrew-origin name Aaron, which derives from the Hebrew Aharon, possibly meaning high mountain, exalted, or of uncertain Semitic origin, borne famously by the brother of Moses in the Hebrew Bible.
