Dorris

Dorris is an English variant of Doris, a name rooted in ancient Greek meaning woman of Doris, referring to the region of Doris in central Greece and its inhabitants, the Dorians. In Greek mythology, Doris was a sea nymph and daughter of the Titans Oceanus and Tethys, mother of the fifty Nereids.
