Geena

Geena is an English variant of Gina, itself a short form of the Italian name Georgina or Regina, ultimately derived from the Latin regina meaning queen, or alternatively from the Greek Georgios meaning farmer or earthworker. The name gained wider use in the English-speaking world through the mid-twentieth century as an independent given name rather than a formal diminutive.
