Hulda

Hulda carries two distinct origins that have long been intertwined. In Old Norse, the name derives from the word huldr, meaning hidden or secret, and in Norse mythology Hulda was a supernatural figure associated with concealment and magic, sometimes depicted as a queen of the hidden folk. Independently, Hulda appears in the Hebrew Bible as the name of a prophetess who authenticated the Book of the Law during the reign of King Josiah, with the Hebrew root likely relating to a word for weasel or mole. Cognate and related forms include Hulda's Scandinavian variant Huld and the anglicised Huldah.
