Ilias

Ilias is the Greek form of Elijah, a name rooted in the Hebrew Eliyyahu, meaning my God is Yahweh, combining El (God) with a form of the divine name YHWH. The name was borne by the Old Testament prophet Elijah, whose dramatic deeds and ascent to heaven in a chariot of fire made him one of the most celebrated figures in Jewish, Christian, and Islamic tradition.
