Kevan

Kevan is an English variant spelling of Kevin, an anglicization of the Irish name Caoimhín, derived from the Old Irish elements caomh, meaning gentle or kind, and the diminutive suffixín. The name gained wide popularity in the English-speaking world largely through the fame of Saint Kevin of Glendalough, a sixth-century Irish monk. Other spelling variants include Kevan's more common counterpart Kevin, as well as Keven.
