Shon

Shon is an anglicized spelling of the Welsh name Siôn, itself a Welsh form of John, which derives from the Hebrew Yohanan, meaning God is gracious. The name has long been common in Wales, where Siôn became the standard Welsh adaptation of the Latin Iohannes brought by Christianity.
