Tineke

Tineke is a Dutch pet form of Martine, itself the feminine form of Martin, which derives from the Latin Martinus, meaning of Mars or belonging to Mars, the Roman god of war. The name gained widespread use through the veneration of Saint Martin of Tours, whose influence spread across Western Europe during the medieval period.
