Yannic

Yannic is a Breton and Low German form of John, itself derived from the Hebrew Yohanan, meaning God is gracious. It developed as a regional variant in Brittany and parts of northern Germany, where it functions as the local equivalent of the widespread Latin Iohannes tradition. The name shares its roots with cognates such as Jan, Yann, Hanno, and Jannick.
