Adelynn

Adelynn is a modern English elaboration built on the Germanic element adal, meaning noble, which forms the core of a large family of traditional given names. The -lynn suffix, widely popular in English naming from the twentieth century onward, was appended to lend the name a softer, more contemporary sound. It is a variant spelling of Adalynn and Adelyn, all of which trace back ultimately to names such as Adeline and Adelaide.
