Adelynn

Adelynn is a modern English elaboration built on the Germanic element adal, meaning noble, which also underlies the classic names Adeline and Adelaide. The -lynn suffix, widely popular in English name coinage from the twentieth century onward, was appended to give the name a softer, more contemporary feel.
