Georgianna

Georgianna is an elaborated feminine form of George, which derives from the Greek name Georgios, rooted in the Greek word georgos, meaning farmer or earthworker, itself composed of ge (earth) and ergon (work). The name gained widespread use in English-speaking countries during the 18th and 19th centuries, when elaborated feminine forms of classical names were fashionable. It is closely related to Georgiana, Georgina, and Georgia, all of which share the same Greek agricultural root.
