Lexy

Lexy is an English diminutive form of Alexandra or Alexis, names ultimately derived from the ancient Greek elements alexein, meaning to defend, and aner, meaning man, together conveying the sense of defender of men. The longer forms have a distinguished history, notably associated with Alexander the Great and the many queens and empresses named Alexandra across European royal houses.
