Luzia

Luzia is the Portuguese and German feminine form of Lucius, a Latin name derived from lux, meaning light. It has been borne by several early Christian saints, most notably Saint Lucy of Syracuse, a third-century martyr whose name became widely venerated throughout Europe. The name is closely related to Lucia, Lucy, Lucía, and Lucie, all of which share the same luminous Latin root.
