Magali

Magali is an Occitan and Provençal form of Margaret, ultimately derived from the Greek margaron, meaning pearl. It gained wide cultural recognition through Frédéric Mistral's 1859 Occitan poem Mirèio, in which Magali appears as a beloved folk song within the narrative.
