Sukie

Sukie is an English diminutive form of Susan, which itself derives from the Hebrew name Shoshannah, meaning lily or rose. It developed as a familiar, affectionate pet form used chiefly in Britain from the eighteenth century onward. The name belongs to a cluster of playful diminutives alongside Susie, Sue, and Suki, all ultimately tracing back to the same Hebrew root.
