Ulrica

Ulrica is a Swedish feminine form of Ulrich, a Germanic name composed of the elements uodal, meaning "heritage" or "ancestral estate," and rīhhi, meaning "power" or "ruler," giving the combined sense of "ruler of the ancestral estate." The name was borne by Ulrika Eleonora, an eighteenth-century queen of Sweden, which helped establish its use in Scandinavian royal and noble circles.
