Anouk

Anouk is a Dutch and French diminutive of Anna, which itself derives from the Hebrew name Channah, meaning grace or favour. The name spread through medieval Europe via the Latin and Greek form Anna, which was borne by the mother of the Virgin Mary according to Christian tradition. Anouk gained wider international recognition partly through the French actress and singer Anouk Aimée, as well as the Dutch pop singer who performs under the single name Anouk.
