Elisabed

Elisabed is the Georgian form of Elizabeth, ultimately derived from the Hebrew name Elisheba, composed of the elements el, meaning God, and sheva, meaning oath or perhaps seven. The name appears in the Hebrew Bible as the wife of Aaron, and its Greek New Testament form Elisabet carried the story of John the Baptist's mother into Christian tradition.
