Izabel

Izabel is a Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese form of Isabel, itself the Iberian adaptation of the Hebrew name Elisheba, meaning my God is an oath or my God is abundance. The name entered medieval Iberian languages through Latin and spread widely across Portugal and its territories, carried by numerous queens and noblewomen throughout Iberian history.
