Josefin

Josefin is a Swedish feminine form of Joseph, which derives from the Hebrew name Yosef, meaning he will add or God will increase, reflecting a prayer for prosperity or further offspring. The name entered European use through the biblical patriarch Joseph and was later popularized by the Latin form Iosephus and its many regional adaptations.
