Judocus

Judocus is a Latinized form of the medieval Breton name Iodoc, itself derived from an Old Celtic element meaning lord or champion. The name was borne by a 7th-century Breton saint, Judoc of Pontrieux, whose veneration spread through Brittany, Cornwall, and into parts of continental Europe, helping to carry the name beyond its Celtic origins.
