Margareeta

Margareeta is a Finnish and Estonian variant of the ancient Greek name Margaritēs, meaning pearl. The name spread widely across Europe through the veneration of Saint Margaret of Antioch, a popular medieval martyr, and was adopted into dozens of languages in varying forms.
