Margrethe

Margrethe is the Danish and Norwegian form of Margaret, ultimately derived from the ancient Greek name Margarites, meaning pearl. The name passed into Latin as Margarita and spread widely across Europe through early Christian veneration of Saint Margaret of Antioch.
