Viktoryia

Viktoryia is the Belarusian feminine form of the Latin name Victoria, derived from the root victoria, meaning victory. The Latin name was borne by the ancient Roman goddess of victory, a counterpart to the Greek Nike, and gained widespread use across Europe partly through the influence of the nineteenth-century British monarch Queen Victoria. Closely related forms include Viktoria, Viktoriya, and Victoria, found across Slavic, Germanic, and Romance languages respectively.
