Corie

Corie is an English given name functioning as a feminine variant of Corey, which itself derives from the Old Norse surname Kori, of uncertain meaning, or alternatively from the Irish surname Ó Comhraidhe. It gained popularity in the twentieth century partly through cultural association with the character Corie Bratter in Neil Simon's 1963 play Barefoot in the Park.
