Sindy

Sindy is an English variant spelling of Cindy, itself a pet form of Cynthia or Lucinda that came to be used as an independent given name. Cynthia derives from Greek Kynthia, an epithet of the goddess Artemis meaning of Mount Cynthus, while Lucinda is an elaboration of Latin Lucia, from lux meaning light.
