Dorinda

Dorinda is an elaborated form of Dora, itself a short form of names beginning with the Greek element doron, meaning gift. The suffix -inda was a fashionable poetic embellishment used by 18th-century writers, and the name was notably introduced to a wide audience through the character Dorinda in George Farquhar's 1707 comedy The Beaux' Stratagem.
